Shogi, Japanese chess, a staple of the Yakuza series. I’m REALLY bad at it since I’ve never understood even the basics.

This is Catch the Lion a kids version of Shogi on the iOS with severely reduced pieces and board space but it does give you a great starter on getting interested in the game.

There is a free ad supported light version and a cheap full version. I’ve been letting my 4 year old play it and she seems to be picking it up pretty quickly.
