Looks like the Limited Edition of Yakuza Like a Dragon is delayed until early December. While putting together the Artbook and dealing with COVID the team at Pix’nLove Publishing has added an extra 48 pages of art and interviews! The delay is only a couple of weeks and the wait sounds like it will be worth it for true fans of the series.

You can still preorder the Limited Edition of the game over here.

Here’s the full update from the publisher:

« Dragons never die! »
That’s what emerges from the dithyrambic reception Yakuza: Like a Dragon is getting from the media. Lauded everywhere he goes, the last-born in the famous SEGA series is unanimously praised. Direction, story, humor, gallery of characters, game mechanics… This new installment already makes itself a must-have of the franchise.
But this success is also and foremost thanks to you. The reception you’ve shown regarding the Collector’s edition made by Pix’n Love in collaboration with SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, is a perfect testimony to this. A true declaration of love by the fans of the series that will soon blow out its 15 candles with honor.
To thank you for your unconditional support, Pix’n Love, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have wished to offer you the best. Thus, the exclusive artbook included in the Collector’s edition will not have 80 pages as announced, but actually 128. The purpose? To offer you a thicker, more exhaustive content. Those additional 48 pages are the chance to present you with even more illustrations, but also the precious testimonies of three key men behind Yakuza: Like a Dragon: Toshihiro Nagoshi (creator of the Yakuza series), Masayoshi Yokoyama (chief producer of the Yakuza series) and Hiroyuki Sakamoto (producer of Yakuza: Like a Dragon).
Armed with more than 300 different illustrations, this exclusive artbook has demanded additional investment and energy, from the Pix’n Love team as well as from SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. And we hope with all our heart that the result will meet your expectations.
In the making since a few weeks, the Collector’s edition must also deal with the contingencies linked to the health crisis that is hitting the world. Faced with the challenges imposed by the pandemic of COVID-19, production times are extended by several weeks and shipments will be made in early December.
Be sure we’ll do our best to fulfill your orders as soon we receive the goods. An e-mail with a tracking number will then be sent to you.
The entire Pix’n Love team thanks you for your understanding and wishes you the best while going through this difficult hardship.
