Learn about four fighting styles that Kazuma Kiryu can unleash and all the alluring vices Kamurocho has to offer in Yakuza Kiwami!
For those that missed it yesterday afternoon Yakuza creator Nagoshi-sam and localization producer Sam from SEGA visited IGN’s live stage to discuss Yakuza 6, Yakuza Kiwami, the Dragon Engine, and some of the design process when putting the games together.
Interview starts at 4 hours 30 min if it’s not automatically displaying.
A slick new story trailer is now out for the total remake of Yakuza 1; Yakuza Kiwami! So great to see the hype machine starting up for Kiwami it’s awesome and at the budget price it’s a don’t miss!
Well this came out of nowhere! Alongside the price and launch date announcement for Yakuza Kiwami. SEGA today opened a new website to help get people caught up to speed with the Yakuza series! Gotta say I’m impressed seems like a lot of love and care went in to everything.
Let’s take a look at what’s on offer over at The Yakuza Experience.
On a stage full of my favorite Japanese devs Nagoshi-san received the Users’ Choice Award for Ryu Ga Gotoku KIWAMI.
Unfortunately the voting period was closed before the release of Yakuza 6 in Japan so it’s notably absent from all of the awards at the show. You can see Nagoshi being shuffled on stage to accept the award at the 29:50 mark. Not bad for a remake of a 10 year old game. The award was chosen by user vote between October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016 so expect RGG6 to clean up next year! Congrats everyone at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio!
