We finally have a western release date for Yakuza Powered by Nihon Touitsu! The live-action adaptation of Yakuza (Ryu Ga Gotoku) will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s Youtube Channel

Previously only available on Amazon Japan this 3 episode mini-series is easily our favorite adaptation of the Yakuza 1 Like a Dragon Story. Not only sticking the closest to the source material but seeks to keep the budget in check by going so far as to green screen actors into the game world itself. You can tell the series has a lot of heart put into it without taking things too seriously. This has our whole hearted recommendation when it begins airing in the next few days make sure you check it out!
