It’s been a long time since Ryu Ga Gotoku Kurohyou 2 (Black Panther) released on the PSP back in 2012 but never the less this obscure PSP spinoff is still one of the best entries in the series with its unique younger protagonist and customizable fighting styles the Black Panther series were very much their own Yakuza games and not just a spinoff.
Team4KL a newly formed fan translation team have taken it upon themselves to translate the entire games in to English so western fans can finally experience Ukyo Tatsuya’s story! The localization project is a complete overhaul for everything from the main story and substories, to the mini games and menus. Overall it looks to be just as professional in quality as if it were an official release.
We played through the game back on release I can happily confirm Ryu Ga Gotoku Kurohyou 2 is easily one of the most fun entries in the series and the team at SEGA did an amazing job bringing over Kamurocho to the handheld while keeping the cities edge.
