Ryu Ga Gotoku studio have partnered with recruitment agency Creative Village for what they’re dubbing a Mid-Career Recruitment Online Casual Interview. This event is for designers, programmers, and others active in the game industry that are looking for a change of careers to come and work at SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. RGG Studio are looking for new staff to help with game development strategies, and are recruiting for core members for Gotoku Studio including designers, marketers, game planners, and scenario writers.
The job opportunities (along with expected income) are listed over on the recruitment website but include the following positions: community management, producers, planners, scenario writers, facial capture artist, event designers, effects designer, character designers, motion designer, technical artist, UI designer, game engine developer, TA engineer. The listings go specifically in to the required skill sets for each job including which programs and languages you need to be proficient in to land a job with the team!

All of these interviews will take place online via Zoom or Teams Jan 25-27, 2024. Space is limited so if you’re interested make sure you request an interview through the recruitment website just remember this is for Japan only and requires existing experience in the games industry.
Sega producers, art directors, designers, and recruiters will be participating on the day actively recruiting and sharing stories of their work culture through video interviews. This event is designed to allow people thinking of joining SEGA a chance to ask questions and find out if it’s a good fit for them.

After joining the company as a programmer, he became a producer. Currently at Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, he is in charge of producing films such as “Ryu ga Gotoku 7 Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.”
Takayuki Sorimachi, SEGA Co. Ltd. 1st Division
After working as a motion designer, he was responsible for managing and managing all designers. Currently at Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, he is in charge of the motion team as chief animation director.
Nobuaki Mitake, 1st Division, SEGA Co. Ltd.
After working as a background designer, he became an art director and general manager of 1st Development Department 4. He is the art director for the Yakuza series.
