From todays press release from SEGA Sammy it looks like the company higher ups are being restructured and moved around. Most notably is that Yakuza creator, and SEGA COO, Toshihiro Nagoshi-san will be retiring from his COO role and moving in to a Creative Director role. The planned change date is April 1st 2021.
Nagoshi-san joined the company in 1989 and has moved from a small role in arcade games development to the COO of the entire company.

No word on how this will affect the future of the Yakuza franchise or his own live streaming YouTube show SEGA Nama but hopefully this is a step in the right direction.
