Earlier today SEGA announced that the upcoming demo for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties demo coming Jan 21st on PC, Jan 22nd on PS5, Xbox, & Switch 2. The trial version allows you to play both Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Yakuza 3 Gaiden: Dark Ties. You can explore the cities of Okinawa and Tokyo, enjoy play spots, and experience battles, and several sub-stories.

PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 – Jan 21 at 9pm PT | Jan 22 at 12am ET
From SEGA here’s what you’ll be able to experience when the demo launches:
Yakuza Kiwami 3
- You can experience the main scenario and part of the sub-story.
- You can explore part of the new stage, “Ryukyu Town.”
- Experience Kazuma Kiryu’s evolved battle action by switching between two battle styles: “Dojima’s Dragon: Extreme” and “Ryukyu Style.”
- You can enjoy some of the play spots, including karaoke.
- You can enjoy some of the “Mobile Phone Customization/Equipment Change” features, which allow you to freely change your mobile phone.
- You can dress up Kazuma Kiryu in your favorite outfits and enjoy some of the coordination options.
Yakuza 3 Gaiden: Dark Ties
- You can experience part of the main scenario.
- You can explore part of the stage “Kamurocho”.
- Experience Mine’s stylish battle action based on shoot boxing.
- You can enjoy some of the play spots, including mahjong.
- *Save data from the trial version cannot be carried over to the main game of Yakuza Kiwami 3 / Yakuza 3 Gaiden Dark Ties.
Note: Save data from the demo cannot be carried over to the full game.
