Earlier today Mix Martial Arts fighter Mikuru Asakura uploaded a video to his channel showing off his trip to the SEGA Sammy offices and going behind the scenes as he does some facial capture tech with Ryu ga Gotoku Studio!
Around 9 minutes in to the above video Asakura is taken to the RGG Studio offices and given a short tour before having his face captured to appear in game. No word on who he’s playing but given it’s the Yakuza series he’s likely playing himself as a guest character.
As he wanders the office we’re treated to a rare behind the scenes look at some in development shots of Yakuza 8.
