Announced at todays Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase; Yakuza Kiwami is coming to Nintendo Switch October 24, 2024. Impressively SEGA has managed to get the Kiwami Engine running on switch hardware and while it does look a little rough Yakuza Kiwami 1 is the perfect starting place for those curious to try out the series for the first time.
While this is great news I can’t help but feel a little disappointed we didn’t get to see the Yakuza 1&2 HD Remaster finally making it to the west since it last launched on PS3 and never escaped Japan.
Update: Yakuza Kiwami will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 24, 2024 and will be available for purchase from the Nintendo eShop for $19.99
