In case it wasn’t clear from the treailer above; beloved SEGA fighting game series VIRTUA FIGHTER is being brought back by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.
Last night at EVO VEGAS 2025 we got our first real glimpse at the new gameplay and it looks so fast and fluid Virtua Fighter is finally back! As with every RGG Studio project you can see the love of the game and using of technology they’ve developed over the last few Like a Dragon entries. From the slowmo during a brutal beat down to the Dragon Engine continuing to kick ass we’re hoping this will finally rejuvenate the series and bring Virtua Fighter back into the spotlight.
