The song lyrics in 4 (and Dead Souls) were translated phonetically in to Romaji using the English alphabet so that when english players play that mini game they can sing along.
Why they didn’t also sub it I can’t say. Too distracting? Or because the Japanese version didn’t have subtitles during that part it was too much work to add them to the code?
